You will provide overall service necessary for the installation, maintenance, operation and quality control of dispenser equipment to best meet customer needs, requirements and specifications within the corporate safety guidelines. This position will monitor dispenser equipment performance to ensure that it is operating as expected. Performs routine maintenance and determines when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Troubleshoots and identifies what may be causing an operating error and seeks problem resolution. You will prioritize and schedule your work in cooperation with the local sales team to meet our customers needs.<br/><br/>This position is located in the Austin, TX area.<br/><br/>This also includes:<br/>-      Responsible for performing dispenser repair, maintenance, install and recovery<br/>-      Responsible for performing advance Dispenser installs like color dispenser, remote tank monitoring systems, etc.<br/>-      Responsible for supporting new product initiation<br/>-      Responsible for maintaining customer relationships at plant levels<br/>-      Responsible for integration and support of newly acquired accounts<br/>-      Responsible for implementing and complying with company wide initiatives, policies, guidelines and procedures<br/>-      Responsible for following all appropriate Environmental Protection, Safety, Health (EHS) policies.<br/>-      Responsible for wearing prescribed Personal Protective equipment and ensure that prescribed safeguards are properly used.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent</b><br/><br/>The position requires someone with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude; good computer skills as well as good communication skills. Lead the process of identifying, prioritizing, implementing and tracking continuous improvement projects and waste elimination utilizing Lean tools.<br/>2. Maintain and communicate  Continuous Improvement database to track, and prioritize progress and effectiveness<br/>3. Train and influence the culture on the use of Lean practices through employee involvement, utilization of Lean Implementation roadmap, and support Mindsets and Behaviors personnel development.<br/>4. Share expertise and experiences on successes and failures with others in unit/group and site.<br/>5. Lead the implementation and coordinate the sustainability of 5S and Visual Board use throughout the area.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent</b><br/><br/>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  A Bachelor of Science degree in any field and 3 years of industry experience or  7+ years of experience in the specific technology or process.  BASF recognizes Institutions of Higher Education that are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or Equivalent. Prior experience in LEAN training (5S, Kaizen, SMED, MIFA, and other LEAN tools) and/or coordinating training programs for multiple disciplines or served as a subject matter expert who was involved in training is preferred.  Prior leadership experience serving as a Construction coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor, Production Supervisor, Turnaround Coordination, Special Projects, Project Manager, or Project Engineer also is preferred.  Certification in LEAN is preferred.<br/><br/>Skills essential for this position include:<br/>- The ability to lead and motivate learners by appealing to the characteristics of adult learners.<br/>- The ability to assess training needs, translate job requirements into training requirements, and organize instructional material both during development and in presentations.<br/>- Proficiency in active listening, clear communication, training, coaching, and developing.<br/>- Ability to appraise performance, including assessing training results.
