This position is located in Wyandotte, MI.<br/><br/>The selected individual reporting to the Hub EHS Team Leader will provide professional, technical environmental support to Wyandotte Site operations.  The individual will also be actively involved in supporting the continued implementation and maintenance of the Hub compliance assurance system, RegAction&reg; WebCMS&reg;.  The position will provide supervisory support  to the Wyandotte waste management service organization.  The selected individual  will contribute to maintaining site environmental compliance through coordination and support of the site&#8217;s compliance assurance process, and providing oversight of the site&#8217;s waste service provider.  The selected individual will also be responsible for ensuring compliance of the site&#8217;s NPDES permit including management of the site&#8217;s wastewater program.<br/><br/><b>Responsibilities:</b><br/>-  Develop and implement processes and procedures designed to ensure the Wyandotte site&#8217;s compliance with Environmental permits, and other corporate and regulatory requirements.<br/>-  Manage the implementation and maintenance of the RegAction&reg; WebCMS&reg; process for the Wyandotte and provide assistance to other Hub sites.<br/>-  Review, revise, and develop training in the site&#8217;s electronic training system (Mockingbird) on the applicable environmental rules and requirements for Manufacturing, Laboratory and Services personnel.<br/>-  Identify and assist in the investigation of air (Title V, NESHAP, etc.), water (NPDES waste water permit and POTW Permit), storm water, and hazardous waste management deviations.  Participate in the root cause analysis (RCA) process and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions to prevent/reduce deviations for the sustainable operations of the units/site.<br/>-  Work with the units and sites to identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste.<br/>-  Collect and submit for analysis all compliance samples for waste water discharges at the Wyandotte North and South Works.<br/>-  Manage the data entry for all waste water compliance permits including assembly of all periodic compliance reports.<br/>-  Collect and submit operational waste water samples collected at the North and South Works for the purposes of identifying process upsets.<br/>-  Review and submit for payment and track spending for waste management service invoices related to the third party waste services contract for the Wyandotte Site.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent</b><br/><br/>Qualifications:<br/><br/>Required<br/>-  Associates Degree in Applied Sciences or other science related field required.<br/>-  Entry level position.
