Where the Chemistry Happens…

QC Lab Tech II (1703438)- Ames, IA

Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods using established test methods. Back-up to chemical QC lab or biological QC lab. Responsible for lab equipment calibrations. Generation and maintenance of qc records including COAs for finished goods. Microbiological contamination testing. Reporting of non-conformances. Maintaining good housekeeping and safety in work areas.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

Basic qualifications:
- BA/BS in science, engineering or related discipline.
- 3 years of experience in laboratory setting
- 2 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting

Preferred Qualifications:
- Microbiology degree preferred.
- Good laboratory technique; ability to distinguish colors.
