Regional Sales Manager, Northeast (1802442) Watson Bowman Acme (WBA)

Where the Chemistry Happens

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving the regional sales and profitability goals. This role provides direction and leadership to the field regional staff while responsible for the customer satisfaction and market share within the Northeast geography (PA. NY, NJ,CT, MA., up thru New England, Atlantic Canada to Ontario and PQ). You will perform all necessary sales and marketing activities for targeted segments involving targeted product growth in such a manner as to facilitate project-oriented, specified sales. The scope of this position is regional / multi-regional with a special focus on architectural applications and the goal is to deliver both top-and bottom-line sales and strategically grow this business section.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Educate and enhance the WBA value proposition as well as BASF as a total solutions provider.
- Perform a comprehensive analysis of the territory and develop a sales territory strategy and operating plan annually, outlining a sales and marketing strategy designed to promote expansion control product growth.
- Identify and research prospective customers in the architectural, engineering, contracting and installation communities through networking, online research, business directories, industry associations, trade shows and observation. Develop and implement plans for introduction to and relationship development with these potential customers.
- Assist Marketing by providing voice of customer and competitive market information.
- Develop and maintain relationships and presence with design professional to maximize specifications penetration – basis for design.
- Continuously develop architectural, engineering, contractor and installer networks and relationships establishing primary supply position with each.
- Work in conjunction with Architectural Specialist to ensure focus on this segment and attainment of Arch Sales Objective.
- Monitor and evaluate the competition's product lines and suggest new products
- Support and adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations as described in the Environmental Health and Safety Rules and Regulations Employee Handbook as well as WBA specific safety guidelines and procedures. Make “safety” a way of life and always a part of your individual actions.
- Complete all work in conformance with Company and Department ISO 9001-2000 and 14001 policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Provide quality leadership for internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding Values at all times: inclusive of constructive problem solving, facilitating creative improvements, and inspiring others.
