Division Sales Manager (Admixtures), Eastern Division (1705565) – Beachwood, OH

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to provide strong, effective leadership, management, and direction of all activities that support and enhance the business within an assigned area. In this role, you will organize and oversee all operational activities of the group, as well as achieving sales objectives within area. In addition, you will manage key account relationships, including customer satisfaction and support of newly attained “major” accounts. You will call on ready mix producers, pre-cast/pre-stress concrete producers, manufacturer concrete products, engineers, and contractors. You will train, develop, and mentor direct reports. You will be relied on to ensure that Company initiatives, policies and procedures are implemented and communicated effectively to all direct reports.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your strong business acumen, you will be accountable for business group revenue and profitability improvement plans by identifying target unsold, undersold, and profit improvement accounts.
- Your financial analysis/management skills will be a valued asset as you determine segment potential and developing market share targets through establishing resource deployment plans and managing discretionary and dispenser expense plans.
- Successfully engaging across the organization, you will consult with the Executive Management Team to foster development of BASF Construction Chemicals by championing strategies designed to increase market share and customer relationships.
- As a role model, you will implement Company-wide initiatives, policies, and procedures into business group plans and communicate them to your direct reports.
- Leading a cross-functional team of professionals, you will coach and develop team members to achieve business unit and individual goals by providing constructive feedback and direction.
- Your educational background and professional experience in sales/marketing management will be critical as you play a key role in introducing new products by penetrating growth markets to increase profitability.
