Senior Production Manager (1801756) – Brighton, CO

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to ensure the timely production of high-quality products in a cost-efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible manner by coordinating, planning, and setting the direction of the production team. This is done with strong leadership and a good working knowledge of the related technologies. You must be able to communicate and focus the shift and support teams on the goals and targets established by the Business Groups and the Site Leadership Team (SLT). This requires overall coordination of production, maintenance, and TES support, capital investment, health and safety, ecology, quality assurance, coaching, and development of all production team members.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational background in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, and your previous management experience within a production/manufacturing environment, you will be accountable for all aspects of production in accordance with Safety, Environmental, Budgetary, and Quality requirements.
- Your strong leadership skills will be a valued asset as you lead a team of Production Engineers in areas including, but not limited to, operations support, technology, and quality, by communicating clear goals and standards.
- Successfully engaging across the organization, you will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), peers, and direct reports to set plant goals, budgets, objectives, and monitor plant performance to assure continuous improvement.
- Your commitment to workplace safety will be essential as you will assure the plant is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
- Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will monitor/control variable and fixed cost spending budget and capital spending.
- Your experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as LEAN Manufacturing and Six Sigma will be a plus as you will champion new ideas to foster timeliness of product manufacturing to meet order demand, product quality, and cost constraints.
