The Construction Solutions Group is dedicated to bringing innovative formulated solutions to our customers in the construction industry by combining the entire BASF portfolio of products and services. The Strategic Marketing Analyst will focus on the long-term horizon for the Construction Solutions group, working to identify and recommend market trends and growth opportunities for the business.

Strategic Marketing Analyst, Construction Solutions Group (1705206) – Charlotte, NC

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Deliver a customer-focused, analytical perspective on markets, trends, key drivers, and the competitive landscape.
- Design and run original market research studies; synthesize data and insights to inform innovation opportunities and segment strategies.
- In conjunction with Marketing Managers, identify and evaluate new product, product improvement, and new business opportunities.
- Lead portfolio steering across segments. Work with Marketing Managers, identify gaps, opportunities, and redundancies in product portfolio. Develop and maintain tools to monitor product launch progress and success. Organize and lead Portfolio Steering Meetings.
- Lead business strategic planning and reporting, as well as segment-specific marketing plans.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, liberal arts, or science discipline with at least 5 years of work experience in marketing/sales/product management; OR advanced degree with 3 years of work experience.
- Marketing acumen, problem-solving capability, initiative, and creativity.
- Strong knowledge of techniques of market research, modeling, analysis, and tools.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, particularly with market and data analysis.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Outstanding verbal and written presentation skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and work management skills to effectively prioritize activities.
- Travel up to 10%.
