Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager, Automotive Refinishing, to join our team. The Manager is responsible to drive profitable organic growth through customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers across the Automotive Refinish business focus sectors with annual total revenues of $5M-$10M. This position can be located near Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL, or Detroit, MI.

Formula for Success: You Will…

· Drive profitable organic sales growth of existing accounts, developing our customer base in key strategic markets, aligning strategic account growth plans with distribution strategy, and leading all activities associated with the new market and customer growth.

· Drive new market and customer growth through opening doors and developing long term relationships and trust in the industry and with strategic sectors

· Work closely with business development specialists on development and execution of the strategic business plan with a focus on supporting the retention, growth and expansion of strategic sector customers

· Develop sales proposals and negotiate sales contracts with the customer as well as obtain necessary internal approvals

· Review and qualify customer financials, market situation, insurance and partner relationships in order to determine BASF success

· Manage all customer activity within the CRM database.

· Travel 25% - 50%

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- High school diploma required with Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or business experience required
- Minimum 3 years of automotive aftermarket experience required
- Management of corporate accounts desired
- Ability to travel 25-50%
