The BASF division of Care Chemicals offers a broad range of ingredients for hygiene, personal care, home care, industrial & institutional cleaning, and technical applications. We are the leading supplier for the cosmetics industry as well as the detergents and cleaning agents industry and support our customers worldwide with innovative and sustainable products, solutions, and concepts. As a Production Team Leader, you will:
- Be responsible for executing the production schedule.
- Be responsible for personnel management in regards to daily production.
- Coordinate the training of less experienced Technicians in all Manufacturing areas.
- Maintain and foster a safe working environment and mindset.
- Interact with SAP for all Manufacturing operations.
- Enforce Standard Operating Procedures and department policies.
- Responsible for the maintenance and documentation of all records and logs. (Batch Record Review, Cleaning logs etc.).
- Identify and compose deviations to Manufacturing Instructions and Production Recipes.
- Identify and suggest process modifications to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Follow and enforce safety protocols including use of safety glasses, shoes, respirator, etc.
- Interact with Maintenance Department for all Manufacturing maintenance requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for success....
- Associate’s degree with 2-3 years experience or H.S. Diploma or equivalent with 5 – 7 years of experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to (i) properly operate all Manufacturing equipment and Control Systems; (ii) accurately and efficiently complete equipment setups; and (iii) accurately and efficiently complete all documentation requirements of the Manufacturing area.
- Mechanical dexterity is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio).
- SAP experience preferred.
