Where the Chemistry Happens…

The Program Manager will have overall accountability for Diamond Service development and execution, leading up to successful launch and commercial success in North America. This high-profile role reports directly to the VP of Market & Customer Development, and will have exposure across all functions and business units by working directly with corporate and business leaders and by leading cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will have strong project management skills, effective communication capabilities, sufficient commercial experience, and the ability to influence and work across BASF.

Diamond Service Program Manager (1703259) – Florham Park, NJ

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Develop the Diamond Service program scope, objectives, and deliverables involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring operational and commercial feasibility.
- Oversee cross-functional and cross-BU teams to provide content and execution expertise.
- Manage project resources and ensure resource availability and allocation at functional and business unit level, so that they can participate at the level needed for project success.
- Establish and manage the relationship with all stakeholders across functions and business units.
- Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
- Ensure the Diamond Service program is delivered on-time and within scope.
- Measure program performance, track and report progress, and escalate, as needed, to management, including Strategic Customer Approach Steering Committee.
- Perform risk management to minimize program risks.
- Act as primary contact for the functions providing the services in Diamond Service, aligning Diamond Service program with FFPG implementation.
- Work closely with LinX team, who will be the primary contact for the Network Leaders.
- Manage project communications including communicating project team plans and results at project review meetings. Ensure senior management are aware of any program issues as they develop.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Marketing or General Business Management preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive work experience, and at least 3 years in project management.
- A minimum of 3 years of change management or strategy implementation, and 2 years of sales/marketing experience within a business unit.
- Excellent written and verbal language skills.
- Proven ability to build business relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, and the ability to navigate through ambiguity is required.
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills, manage multiple initiatives in a highly matrix organization.
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time.
