We are the leading supplier for the cosmetics industry, as well as the detergents and cleaning agent’s industry, and support our customers worldwide with innovative and sustainable products, solutions, and concepts. We are seeking an Account Manager to join our Care Chemicals organization, supporting the Personal Care Distributors in the United States and Canada.

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational and professional background as the primary interface with our Personal Care Distribution network in the United States and Canada, as well as the central point of contact for distributors to develop commercial proposals, provide solutions to competitive issues and customer problems, and interface on credit and payment issues.
- Your commercial expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Personal Care market will be essential as you analyze trends to meet customer needs by leveraging the whole BASF portfolio with distribution partners.
- Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will lead the process to assess channel needs to select appropriate distributors in alignment with sales management, and provide regular reports including financial performance, highlights/lowlights, potential new/lost business, pricing, and market intelligence.
- Your clear understanding of the value chain both upstream and downstream (cost to serve) will be a valued asset as you utilize and manage available resources (e.g., Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, Management) to support growth with distributors.
