We are seeking an Industry Marketing Manager to join our Care Chemicals group. The BASF division of Care Chemicals offers a broad range of ingredients for hygiene, personal care, home care, industrial & institutional cleaning, and technical applications. We are the leading supplier for the cosmetics industry as well as the detergents and cleaning agents industry and support our customers worldwide with innovative and sustainable products, solutions, and concepts. The division’s high-performance product portfolio includes surfactants, emulsifiers, polymers, emollients, chelating agents, cosmetic active ingredients, pigments, and UV filters. Superabsorbents developed for the full spectrum of hygiene applications complete the range. We have production and development sites in all regions and are expanding our presence in emerging markets. Industry Marketing Manager (1604131)

The AgChem Additives Industry Marketing Manager Industry Marketing Manager will be responsible for the North American marketing aspects of the AgChem Additives product line.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Implement industry segment strategy and key strategic measures.
- Identify, manage and respond to market's un-met needs (products, concepts & solutions) in coordination with Technology and R&D teams.
- Develop and execute new product launches based on business plans and an in-depth understanding of market positioning and value pricing for products within the specific industry.
- Support growth opportunities in established and new market segments and customer groups.
- Work with Key Account Sales Representatives, Development and Technology and Business Management for the AgChem Additives business.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- BS/BA Degree required; preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5 + years business experience ideally in the Chemical Industry
- 3 + years of experience in AgChemicals in a customer facing role preferred
- Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and market/business analysis skills are required.
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, be team-oriented and be able to handle difficult situations and solve problems effectively.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and skills
- Position requires approximately 25% travel.
