Program Summary
- We offer current graduate students the opportunity to spend a summer working at a North American BASF site within the U.S. Potential locations include one of the following RDT North American Hubs: Houston, TX; Iselin, NJ; Southfield, MI; Wyandotte, MI; or Tarrytown, NY.
- Interns will work in various areas such as: development, technical service, production support, technology specialist.
- This 10-12 week program will begin in May, following a formal orientation at our North American Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ.
- This program is targeted toward traditionally under-represented groups in technical / R&D areas, including but not limited to female students and students of African American, Asian, Latino/Hispanic, Native American, or Pacific Islander descent.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Basic Qualifications
- PhD Graduation dates: May 2019 - August 2020, pursuing a doctorate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or Material Science
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Outstanding work ethic
- Learning agility and flexibility
- Must submit letter of recommendation from advisor along with application
