Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are looking for an individual to fill the role as a Senior System Specialist Financial in our Florham Park, NJ or RTP, NC.

Senior System Specialist Financial (1703584) – Florham Park, NJ & RTP, NC

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Direct manufacturing execution via the site production coordinators, production supervision, quality, and support from the technical operations team.
- Leading efficient day-to-day operation of plan, including controlling manufacturing costs and dealing with variances, production data integrity, inventories, conflict management, and problem resolution.
- Support and collaborate with all business technology groups (EMT, EVT)
- Implement operational excellence (OpEx) activities at the site. Perform Asset Effectiveness data capturing, bad actor management, and action implementation. Oversee 5-S, Kaizen events, and review of Visual Management.
- Serve as site lead for overall labor operational availability, performance, and discipline.
- Set clear goals and expectations for flawless shop floor execution.
- Provide guidance for improving asset capability, utilization, and flexibilization.
- Support the site training program and CapEx execution.
- Manage the production of manufacturing goods in a sustainable and safe manner.
- Uphold process safety, PHA, and HAZOP reviews.
- Maintain adherence to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA and OSHA initiatives by protecting the environment, health, safety and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers, and neighbors.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor’s degree required combined with a minimum of 3 years of experience working in the Financial Sector and/or Information Technology, OR at least 5 years of experience working in the Financial Sector and/or Information Technology
- Solid knowledge of CARS concepts and service design and calculation.
- Familiarity with business management.
