Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline, as well as your extensive Manufacturing leadership experience, you will be relied on to coordinate process safety management reviews for all industrial petrochemical sites, and implement all industrial petrochemicals safety programs.
- Your strong knowledge and proven application of process safety concepts will be a valued asset as you will support Responsible Care audits, benchmarking, and communication of safety best practices.
- Your prior experience and understanding of Ecology, Health, and Safety Standards, storage and handling guidelines for Petrochemical products, as well as OSHA, EPA, and other applicable directives, will be critical as you participate in incident reviews, and ensure sites comply with EHS standards. In addition, you will be charged with complying with EHS directives, and complete actions from process hazard analyses, RCMS audits, and incident reviews, while ensuring petrochemical products are safely stored and handled by customers and third-party providers.
- As a trusted technical advisor, you will direct the technology transfer by and among North American operations, as wells as Petrochemical global operations, Technology, and Strategy groups.
- Your project management skills will serve our company well as you will ensure business assets import and export technology developments achieve continuous improvement, rapid learning, and prompt and successful implementation to maximize Petrochemical asset effectiveness across the regions.

This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
