Senior Turnaround Engineer-Geismar (1801933)

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you to develop and implement all phases of Turnaround (TAR) planning and execution across various business units and maintenance areas to ensure business objectives are fully achieved, to include budgets, schedules, and work implementation strategies. You will also develop and implement communication strategies to ensure that all EHS procedures are fully integrated into daily TAR execution work. Your technical expertise and leadership of TAR planning and field execution teams will ensure success. Additionally, you will Identify, design and implement continuous improvement strategies for TAR execution, such as lessons learned and best practices, and represent Geismar to the Global and North American Regional TAR teams.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational background in an Engineering discipline or Construction Management, as well as your extensive professional experience in maintenance or construction in the chemical/petrochemical or manufacturing industries, you will be able to provide strong technical knowledge and experience in maintenance and/or construction work execution of all types of crafts.
- Your lengthy experience in leadership in TAR management will allow you to operate as the primary technical resource to others for all phases of TAR execution.
- Your strong communications skills will be a valued asset as well as your experience with SAP or similar enterprise software system and scheduling tools such as Primavera.

This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
