We are seeking a Shift Supervisor at our Middle Georgia location with responsibility for overseeing plant production.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Manage packaging and shipping facilities.
- Supervise hourly production employees to production and shipping goals in a safe and efficient manner.
- Direct shift maintenance activities, handle appropriate assignment of production labor, and manage execution of the packaging and shipping schedule.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to optimize all aspects of the packaging operations in terms of employee and equipment performance.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution, plus a minimum of 5 years experience with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Proactive, motivated self-starter capable of working with limited supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to lead and motivate employees.
- Solid presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to quickly address and resolve equipment and people issues
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Computer skills required.
- Experience in a union environment preferred.
