Where the Chemistry Happens…

This position provides administrative support for the Vice President and teams to include preparation of meeting coordination, domestic and international travel reservations, supply inventory and procurement, preparation of memos and meeitngs. The successful candidate will perform and follow-up on various projects and administrative functions for the Business Unit requiring both specific and general administrative knowledge.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
- Associate Degree, Business School Certification or equivalent required, Bachelor degree preferred. BASF recognizes Institutes of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years work experience which includes progression to positions of increased responsibility and technical difficulty required.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook desired. SharePoint skills preferred.
- Knowledge of document management systems desired.
- Interpersonal skills to efficiently and effectively assist colleagues to work effectively in a team environment required.
- Knowledge of purchasing, accounts payables and invoice reconciliation required.
- SAP knowledge desired.
- Knowledge of BASF company and departmental products and procedures desired.
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills and attention to detail required.
