We are seeking a Maintenance Gatekeeper to function out of our McIntyre, GA facility.

Maintenance Gatekeeper (1705413) – McIntyre, GA

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Provide operations oversight and coordination of the maintenance activities for a production plant.
- Serve as the primary interface for Operations with the maintenance personnel by approving and prioritizing work notifications.
- Coordinate any operations-/ non-maintenance-related contractor work and assist in maintenance related contractor activities.
- Oversee the site discretionary spending process.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required; associate’s or technical degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of operational and/or maintenance experience.
- Supervisory experience preferred
- SAP or similar production/maintenance planning software is a plus.
- Detailed understanding of equipment and overall plant manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with environmental, health and safety procedures.
- Broad understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, mechanical integrity programs and preventative maintenance practices. Requires familiarity with maintenance programs, work processes (MPI, etc.), and best practices.
- Must have technical competencies of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, general computer skills, work planning and estimating.
- Must have generic competencies of analytical thinking, communication and interpersonal understanding, customer focus, entrepreneurial acting/initiative, team leadership/collaboration, work management, and conflict management.
