Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our team and be responsible for profitable organic sales growth of existing accounts. The Manager would also develop our customer in key strategic markets, aligning strategic account growth plans with distribution strategy, and leading all activities associated with the market and customer growth.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Develop and manage the Distribution Action Plan.
- Develop, manage and execute joint strategic action plan to include annual and quarterly business planning meetings that focus on the BASF market share, how enhance our relationship and identify potential target growth initiatives.
- Actively work with BASF managers and local sales representatives to ensure participation and involvement with local customers and action plan.
- Assist in troubleshooting problems that require special handling.
- Act as an additional resource to resolving customer issues.
- Manage all activity within the Customer Relationship Management database.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor’s degree required or in lieu of Bachelor’s degree a high school diploma with 12 years of commercial sales experience required
- Minimum 5 years’ commercial or business experience, preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ construction industry experience, preferred.
- Management of corporate accounts desired.
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time. BASFRS
