Parking and Restoration Specialist (1604244)

The Parking and Restoration Market Specialist’s primary responsibility to develop new parking and restoration business through existing and potential customer base and lead the development of customer relationships at all levels. Perform all necessary sales and marketing activities for targeted segments involving core product growth in such a manner as to facilitate project-oriented sales.

- Grow parking and restoration segment product sales through “solution packages.”
- Develop and maintain a high value business relationship with contractors, waterproofing and parking and restoration firms.
- Improve clarity and consistency of needed communication with distributor partners.
- Vision – know every job / square footage / market potential / market share.

- A minimum of five years of experience with the sale of specialty construction materials sales and/or experience as a contractor/applicator of concrete repair, strengthening and restoration with a proven track record of performance.

Bachelor of Arts/Science preferred in business, architecture, engineering or a related field. Minimum high school graduation with commensurate industry-related work experience.

Demonstrates a robust understanding of how construction products are sold into the targeted segment through the various channels of sale. Channel of sales include but are focused on Architects, Specifiers, Distributors, Owners and Contractors.
- Superior time management skills and ability to excel in a self-directed work environment.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) presentation and customer interface skills
- Experience and training in consultative selling skills.
- Strong understanding of the specification process, especially with local, state and federal agencies, engineers, manufacturers and contractors including: customer decision process, understanding and knowledge.
- - Ability to travel up to 50%. Driving long distances and overnight travel are required. Will work out of home offices.
- Strong skills in work-product organization, action plan development, time management, project management, meeting facilitation, relationship building (networking, team building and conflict resolution) and public speaking/presentations.
- Business software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Lotus Notes and project planning software.

· This person must have demonstrated the ability to work independently with a minimal amount of direct supervision.
