BASF's Professional Development Programs (PDPs) were created to provide highly motivated, mobile-minded current university students an opportunity to enhance their professional skills through a variety of diverse learning experiences. Participants will contribute to real-world rotational assignments within different domestic locations. They will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision-making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs. Participants also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills, and interests and gain valuable exposure to BASF's culture, values, and decision-makers.

Formula for Success: You Will…

Program Summary
- 18-month cross-functional program with two rotations, one in marketing working in Research Triangle Park, NC; one in sales working with field sales teams and tech services.
- Assignments can be located in a variety of locations throughout the U.S.
- Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be placed in a field sales role as a Business Representative.

- Enhance career development and deliver value to BASF through the planned assignments.
- Prepare you to target growers, retailers, distributors, and key influencers, while learning to develop business strategies and tactics that lead to helping growers get the most on every acre.
- Prepare you to communicate the value of BASF's innovations through direct contact with assigned growers, retailers and distributors, focusing on the benefits of using BASF crop protection products and services.
- This program offers a comprehensive program of employee benefits, including an award winning flexible work arrangement and 100% tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…

· Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sales, Agribusiness, Marketing, Agronomy, Biology, Plant Science, or related field.
- Demonstrated academic achievement (Minimum Major GPA 3.0).
- Recent or upcoming graduates (May 2017 – August 2018 grads).
- Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding work ethic.
- Agility/Leadership potential.
- Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Customer focused.
