We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Communications Manager to join our Agricultural Products (AP) Division, based in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Communications Manager (1705236) – RTP, NC

As a Communications Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategy for advertising, public relations and other marketing communications programs for the Professional & Specialty Solutions business at BASF, specifically focused on the Turf and Ornamentals market. You will partner with marketing, create strategic communications plans to deliver on marketing goals and execute those communications according to budgets. Additionally, you will also manage strategic agency partner(s) and outside vendors.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Supervise deployment of a variety of communications tools/tactics including news releases, digital communications vehicles, trade shows and other promotional events, direct marketing, and print, broadcast and online advertising.
- Be responsible for digital content on the BASF website, as well as the BASF intranet and internal file-sharing sites.
- Demonstrate value to the business by recommending, creating and managing strategic, creative and efficient marketing communications programs.
- Contribute to communications programs that support BASF goals as assigned by the Group Communications Manager.
- Demonstrate passion for the discipline of communications, ongoing interest in evolving trends and technologies.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline
- 6+ years’ experience in marketing communications, particularly in Business to Business (B2B) or complicated buying scenario environments.
- Experience in strategic integrated marcom; managing the development and execution of integrated programs comprising public/media relations, advertising, direct mail, digital marketing, brochures and other communications tools.
- Proven track record of succeeding in matrixed and team environments.
- Excellence in managing multiple, deadline-sensitive projects, keeping internal clients informed, tracking multiple budgets, forecasting and Return on Investments (ROI) measures.
- Demonstrated familiarity and experience with digital forms of communications (social media, digital advertising), as well as understanding of measurement/ROI metrics.
- Demonstrated experience delivering results in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.

We Also Look For…
- Agency experience is a plus.
- Experience with Pest, Turf and Ornamentals is a plus.
