Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are seeking a Global Registration Manager to support our Agricultural Solutions (AP) division. This position will be based in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Global Registration Manager (1802801) – RTP, NC

As a Global Registration Manager, you will manage the development of projects, regulatory strategies, submission activities and registration actions associated with currently registered products. You will also lead re-registration defense activities for assigned active ingredients globally, and represent BASF by participating in industry meetings/committees.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Lead global cross-functional teams that develop registration data for active ingredients. Projects range from development of a new active ingredient to expanding and defending active ingredients or uses
- Design and optimize short and long term global and regional registration strategies.
- Manage and communicate project costs and timelines.
- Advise business teams on regulatory issues impacting sales.
- Keep regulatory files and information pieces current, consistent with worldwide regulations and trends.
- Coordinate the execution of related activities by scientific and registration teams involving as appropriate marketing, technical development, formulation and manufacturing units.
- Provide leadership in product stewardship / sustainability programs.
- Serve as global focal point for registration / technical inquiries from internal and external customers.
- Participate on active ingredient task forces and industry association work groups

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- PhD in agriculture field or related scientific discipline with minimum 5 years’ experience in the pesticide industry, with 5 years’ experience pesticide registration preferred -OR-
- BA/BS or MS degree in agriculture field or related scientific discipline with a minimum 8 years (MS) or 10 years (BS) experience in the pesticide industry, with minimum 5 years’ experience in pesticide registration
- Must have comprehensive working knowledge of global pesticide regulatory systems, including associated laws and regulations, e.g. FIFRA, EU 1107/2009.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Experience leading or supporting project development teams
- Strong teamwork skills and a high level of personal initiative
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Problem solver with a demonstrated ability to ensure attention to details while balancing multiple tasks

- Experience working within the pesticide industry
- Proven track record for successfully registering pesticide products
