Global Strategic Marketing Manager (1800287) – Research Triangle Park, NC

Where the Chemistry Happens

We are seeking a professional like you who will actively manage an assigned portfolio of compounds on a global basis. You will closely collaborate with BASF colleagues in our research, development, and regional businesses to assess the potential value of early-stage research leads. In addition, you will develop a global strategy to identify potential BASF partners for insecticide development. We will rely upon your expertise in the global insecticide field to become a trusted resource for the global insecticide team, along with BASF colleagues, around the world.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula for Success
- Leveraging your educational and professional background in Entomology or a related Agricultural field, you will identify the appropriate technical fit in the global insecticide markets for early-stage research leads in BASF’s insecticide pipeline.
- Your strong business acumen will be a valued asset as you develop and gain approval for business cases that enable BASF to make smart investments to capture new business potential.
- Effectively engaging across the organization, you will establish and maintain close working relationships with all relevant global functions that will enable successful development of new compounds from BASF’s insecticide research pipeline.
- Your project management experience will be essential as you will lead an indirect team of experts from across BASF’s global functions progress early-state development projects that have successfully moved from BASF’s research pipeline.
- Your solid background in market research will be critical as you commission, review, and summarize the global market environment for insecticides, including BASF’s position relative to competitive companies.
