We are seeking a Lead Facility Technician – Electrician to join our Agricultural Products Division (APN).

Lead Facility Technician – Electrician – RTP, NC

The Lead Facility Technician – Electrician is responsible for inspecting equipment, fixtures, and facilities for proper operation and working condition, and performing preventative maintenance as assigned through the SAP work order system.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Maintain logs, manuals, records and other related documentation
- Troubleshoot electrical, and mechanical malfunctions; correct faults necessary to return equipment to service
- Adjust, disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex equipment and machinery
- Report serious problems to supervisor; Collaborate to develop solutions to problem conditions
- Maintain and repair electrical circuits up to 600 volts, including replacement, adjustment, or alteration of circuit wiring, switches, motors, relays, and other devices
- Install, set-up, and test new equipment, fixtures and machinery
- Operate Building Management Systems to troubleshoot and maintain required environmental conditions throughout the facilities
- Deliver courteous and effective customer service to the occupants of the buildings serviced
- Manage contractors according to all corporate guidelines ensuring safety quality and cost effectiveness of work

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- Associates Degree in industrial maintenance or related field -OR- High School Diploma/GED with significant related experience -OR- AA/HS/GED with completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in one or more trades
- 5+ years of minimum experience as an electrician in an industrial or commercial environment with advanced knowledge of single and three-phase power systems
- Possession of, or able and willing to obtain a North Carolina Electrical License
- Advanced capability with Building Automation Systems, i.e.: Seimens, Honeywell, JCI etc.
- General knowledge of the design, operation and repair of mechanical systems such as plumbing and HVAC
- Familiarity with building codes, electrical codes, and fire codes
