We are looking for a Marketing Excellence Manager to be the central point for leading and managing our strategic marketing planning (SMP) activities within the Professional & Specialty Solutions (P&SS) group.

Marketing Excellence Manager - Professional & Specialty Solutions (1701957) – RTP, NC

As the Marketing Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross functional teams that develop the strategic marketing and product launch plans across all P&SS markets. This role is also responsible for organizing and driving the Product Launch Excellence (PLE) marketing activities, market research planning, and supporting our forecasting/S&OP processes.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Use a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to expand our strategic marketing process to inspire new strategies for core and adjacent markets
- Engage marketing managers and product managers to deliver solid strategic frameworks for each market
- Ensure marketing teams follow the PLE guidelines to secure the successful launch of new product innovations
- Interface with supply chain, demand management, manufacturing, controlling, global marketing, sales, customer experience, and the US P&SS Leadership Team to successfully communicate strategic and tactical direction to enable the group to meet or exceed financial targets
- Manage the AMIGA 10-year forecasting process, net sales budgeting process, and monthly business review
- Be knowledgeable of industry trends, technologies, and competitive initiatives to identify customer needs
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience and Marketing Communications teams to ensure effective, efficient use of resources to achieve market objectives

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of experience – OR – MS/MBA with 4+ years of experience – OR – PhD with 2+ years of experience
- 2+ years of experience within marketing, sales, research & development, or finance
- Demonstrated project management and financial analysis skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to be creative and entrepreneurial
- Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication
