Product Compliance Coordinator (1702185)

As a Product Compliance Coordinator, you will monitor and provide strategic guidance of key issues related to regulatory Maximum Residue Level (MRL) inconsistencies which can impact BASF agricultural chemicals.

You will be responsible for globally harmonizing North American MRLs and working to obtain import tolerances for BASF Agricultural Products, eliminating trade barriers for North American customers and maximizing product sales.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Provide guidance to registration managers and business personnel for issues related to MRLs
- Determine in which countries an import tolerance should be pursued to maximize North America market potential
- Represent BASF on Regional and Global Working Groups, which have the ability to influence MRL issues in countries importing North American commodities

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- PhD in Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, or Related Field with 2+ years of agricultural chemical industry experience -OR- MS with 5+ years of work experience in agricultural chemical industry -OR- BS with a 7+ years of work experience in agricultural chemical industry
- Regulatory experience with knowledge of national registration processes
- Understanding of MRLs and how they impact the ability to export/import agricultural commodities
- Project leadership ability
- Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills; Detail oriented with strong organizational skills; Strong leadership skills; Negotiation and conflict resolution skills

- Regulatory experience with knowledge of international agricultural trade flow
