Where the Chemistry Happens…

We are currently seeking a State Registration Manager to join the Agricultural Solutions business (AP) in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina.

State Registration Manager (1800743) – RTP, NC

Lead US domestic labeling activities, including acting as a Regulatory Affairs Department liaison to Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain for federal and state regulatory labeling information, product packaging, and distribution.

Provide direction to the business with respect to state registration and labeling strategies for new and existing products. Will oversee label comparisons for state registration purposes. Provide strategic leadership and direction to obtain and defend state registrations.
- Supervise up to three individual contributors.
- Monitor state regulatory activities through interaction with industry and state regulatory associations.
- Use registration and information systems to improve registration and reporting.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- Bachelors degree in scientific field with 9 years related experience or M.S. degree with 7 years related experience or Ph.D. with 5 years related experience in some phase of the pesticide or other regulated industry
- Technical understanding of biological processes as they relate to the use, research, development, and registration of pesticides, and of federal/state rules and guidelines
- Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills; demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently under time constraints
- Advanced level computer skills

We Also Look For…
- M.S or Ph.D. preferred
- Knowledge of database and systems development a plus
