The Business Representative position within our Agricultural Division offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to combine his/her respective sales and technical background to promote industry-leading innovations to growers.

Business Representative Regina North East (1701740)

The Business Representative will be responsible for driving accelerated sales growth of BASF’s new innovations to retail partners. In addition, the individual will manage relationships within the channel, actively prospect for news business to expand the customer base, and develop and cultivate business relationships with top growers.

Formula for Success: You Will…

Drive accelerated sales growth through development and execution of a territory business plan.

Develop a value-based sales strategy for each customer based on their unique needs, interests, and business goals and objectives, resulting in a customized solution.

Meet or exceed innovation sales goals with the retailer customer base.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a concentration in Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Business, or a related field, combined with a Current Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or Pest Control Advisor (PCA) qualification (or a willingness to obtain); advanced degree is a plus.

· Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with a passion for making a positive difference in the agriculture industry; ability to develop and cultivate meaningful relationships with customers and internal partners, including success with large operation growers.
- Technical proficiency, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Devotion to achieve goals through self-management of time and resources.
- Ability to travel overnight on a weekly basis.
