We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for the hourly mechanical and electrical maintenance employees.

Maintenance Supervisor (1604094)

You will be responsible for the safe and cost effective execution of maintenance work in an assigned area. You will ensure efficient and effective utilization of maintenance manpower, resources, tools, and equipment.

- Responsible for day to day maintenance needs in the plant
- Supervision of mechanical and electrical maintenance staff
- Support production needs as it relates to equipment maintenance
- Manage scheduled maintenance work and breaks in work

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting OR Associate in Engineering OR a BS in an Engineering or other technical discipline with minimum 3+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience required
- Detailed understanding of equipment and overall plant manufacturing processes is required.
- Requires familiarity with environmental, health and safety procedures.
- A broad understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, mechanical integrity programs and preventative maintenance practices is required.
- Must have familiarity with maintenance programs, work processes (MPI, etc.), and best practices.
- Must have technical competencies of troubleshooting, root cause analysis, general computer skills, work planning and estimating, and user knowledge of SAP maintenance functions.
- Effective communication (verbal and written) skills
