We are seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our team.

Marketing Analyst (1702997) – Southfield, MI

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Support and drive the regional budgeting process for the Americas.
- Drive market and sales input into global tools including CatMaps, Global Competition Database, and Compass.
- Manage vendor relationships with third-party information sources.
- Support strategic regional and global marketing initiatives with a focus on long-term growth while maintaining short-term profits and sales objectives.
- Uphold external growth strategies for the business (e.g., alliance partners, licensing, and other partnerships).
- Sponsor regional organizational alignment around strategic marketing initiatives to improve market share and profitability.
- Support implementation of processes and systems to identify and monitor primary market drivers (regulations, power train developments, fuel changes) and competitive analysis.
- Provide regional market intelligence and input to the global marketing organization to assist in the development of global goals, targets, and processes.
- Support determination of price floors and value pricing opportunities for new products.
- Maintain the business development prioritization process.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited university program
- 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: sales, supply chain, marketing or a technical function is required
- Must possess good strategic, marketing and analytical skills required
- Must be capable of utilizing excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with, and influence, the organization, peers and senior management

- MBA (with a concentration in marketing) is a plus
- Experience and an understanding of a P&L is a plus
- Understanding of innovation processes and new product introduction is a plus
