Sales Representative – MO – (1705217) – Remote Position

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing accounts in your own territory and meeting specified targets by creating value for the existing customer base, and prospecting for new customers with products, services, and/or solutions from BASF.

Formula for Success: You Will…
- Develop a business plan to segment and target retailers, distribution and key influencers, develop short and long-term customer action plans and anticipate/respond to market dynamics
- Conduct product updates, trials, technical and sales training to growers, retailers, distributors, and influence groups
- Submit timely reports, required to identify opportunities, emerging threats, and competitive activities
- Participate in District, Regional or National cross functional teams
- Provide timely and accurate administration and communication of customer needs to others in the organization

This position will report directly to District Sales Manager.

Where you'll work…

You will reside within the TBD, MO territory. You will be traveling 75% of the time, of which, less than 5% will be overnight. Our opportunities can take you all over the world...

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
- Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- Bachelors Degree
- 2+ years of sales experience (and/or completion of a BASF Agricultural Rotational Program)
- Account management experience
- Computer skills, including MS Office, particularly Excel, to generate sales support materials, analyze trends, and fulfill marketing programs
- Willing and able to live and travel throughout the assigned territory of SW MO.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Strong work ethic and self-motivation; Able to manage multiple projects to meet goals and objectives

- 5+ years of sales experience
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Agricultural experience
