Where the Chemistry Happens…

Utility Operator 2nd Shift (1704312)- St. Louis, MO

We ' re looking for a Utility Operator to work our second shift from 2:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. This position is responsible for performing various production tasks with quality, and in a safe, economical and technically feasible manner.

Your responsibilities would also include:
- Lead line activities and be knowledgeable of and follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety practices - Execution of daily activities ensuring production deadlines are met in a safe and timely manner - Participate in job related training.
- Ability of being crossed trained and train others in various work-related areas and processes.
- Ability to setup, operate, monitor and adjust production related equipment to assure safe equipment operation and product quality.
- Follow SOP and assist in developing SOP's as required by job assignments.
- Assist in equipment inspections and calibration.
- Identification if equipment malfunctions and perform minor maintenance and notifications.
- Lead Housekeeping and 5S Teams to assure sustainability.
- Control product quality through communicating item damage or off spec condition that exist to QC. - Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…
- Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a production capacity within a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic Computer skills
- Mechanically inclined, Minimum 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment
- Must be punctual with good attendance.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Utility Operator will direct activities in absence of Production Supervisor
