Research Scientist Engineer 180232 Vidalia, LA

Where the Chemistry Happens

We currently have an opening for a Research Scientist/Engineer in the Vidalia, LA Research and Development Laboratory. The position will provide laboratory and pilot plant support focused on product and process development of primarily alumina-based adsorbent and catalyst technologies

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Formula For Success
- Leveraging your Bachelors degree along with your laboratory and manufacturing experience you will be involved in the development of laboratory tests for catalysts/adsorbent evaluation, while maintaining and troubleshooting lab and pilot plant equipment.
- Managing various projects with defined targets and milestones, you will perform crucial tasks including, but not limited to, performing experiments, analysis and compiling results to communicate through presentations to various stakeholders.
- Interfacing with manufacturing you wills assist in process development projects and provide solutions for customer product issues. Lean Six Sigma (preferred)
- Your strong entrepreneurial drive and innovative nature will propel you through ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to customers.
